Houston – Motoryclist Injured on Mykawa Rd

A motorcycle operator was hospitalized after getting into a crash with a semi-truck on Mykawa Road in Houston, early Tuesday morning.
Just before 6:00 a.m., police received a notification reporting a crash on Mykawa Rd near East Orem Drive in Houston. A motorcycle had been traveling along Mykawa when, for reasons that remain under investigation, it collided with a semi-truck. The motorcyclist sustained injuries from the force of the impact. He was taken to a hospital where he received further medical care. The extent of his injuries was withheld pending notification of his next of kin.
The driver of the semi-truck was not hurt.
Houston police are conducting a thorough investigation into the incident. No charges have been filed as of this writing.
