Houston – Motorcyclist Died Following a Crash on Jensen Dr

One person was pronounced deceased when a motorcycle collided with a truck on Jensen Drive, early Saturday morning.
At around 1:30 a.m., Houston local officers responded to Jensen Dr near Eastex Freeway to assist in a traffic accident in Northeast Houston. According to the report released by responding officers, a motorcycle had been traveling along the highway when it crashed into a tow truck that was in a ditch pulling a disabled car. The impact of the collision seriously injured the rider of the motorcycle. He eventually succumbed to his injuries at the scene. His identification was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Authorities did not release information about the driver of the truck.
No one else was injured.
Area investigators were also called to the scene to determine the cause of the accident. They are looking into the possibility of speeding.
