Houston – Midnight Pedestrian Crash on Antoine Dr Kills 1

The Houston Police Department is investigating an auto versus pedestrian crash on Antoine Drive that killed at least one person last September 21.

Just after midnight, DPS troopers were requested to assist in a collision at the 5600 block of Antoine Drive. According to the initial investigation, a man had been walking along the roadway when he was hit by a Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck, leaving him fatally injured. The victim, who was identified only as a 50-year-old pedestrian, was immediately taken to Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital for treatment. He was then airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

No further details are available.

How the crash actually happened is yet to be determined by area investigators.
