Houston – Man Struck and Killed by 3 Cars on Maxey Rd

A pedestrian died after getting hit by several cars on Maxey Road in northeast Houston, Saturday evening.
According to the report released by responding officers, the accident happened at around 10:00 p.m. near Church Road, right in front of a fire station. The circumstances surrounding the crash are very unclear at this time. Police have yet to confirm what the pedestrian was doing when he was struck by a car. After the initial crash, he was then struck by two more cars. The firefighters who witnessed the accident rushed to the man, but to no avail. He had already succumbed to his injuries.
No identification has been released pending notification of the victim’s immediate family relatives.
Charges have not been filed at this time. Investigators would not say if the other drivers stopped.
