Houston – Kid Struck by Truck on Tidwell Rd

A toddler was sent to a hospital following a pedestrian vs truck crash on Tidwell Road, Last Friday night, April 10th.

At around 8:00 p.m., police responded to the intersection of Wayside near Tidwell Rd following reports of a pedestrian accident. According to police reports, a three-year-old boy was seen walking along the street when he was hit by a truck that was passing. The impact left the child pedestrian with serious injuries. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was listed in a stable condition. His identification is pending.

Police said the driver of the truck initially left the scene but came back a few moments later. It was not clear if he will be facing charges.

The crash remains under investigation.
