Houston law enforcement officials are conducting an investigation about a vehicle collision involving two pedestrians who got hit by a vehicle on Aldine Bender Road.
Last Saturday, responding officers were dispatched at the 100 block of Aldine Bender Road following a report of an accident. According to the initial investigation, two people were attempting to cross the road when a white Tahoe, traveling at approximately 50 meters per hour, struck both pedestrians. Instead of rendering aid to the victim, the driver fled the scene, leaving the two victims at the middle of the road.
The pedestrians, who were only identified as a male and a female, were immediately taken to the nearest hospital for treatment. The male victim was listed in stable condition while the female victim was in critical condition. Their identifications have yet to be released.
