Houston – Hit-and-Run Crash on Lee Road

The driver who fled the scene after a fatal car crash on Lee Road last July 20th has been identified and arrested, reports said.

According to Houston Police, the incident took place at the intersection of Lee Road and Edward Drive just before 8:00 p.m. How the crash happened is yet to be released by local authorities but it was confirmed that at least two vehicles were involved. The force of the impact left the driver of the first vehicle with serious injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Meanwhile, the driver of the second vehicle did not stop to render aid to the victim and escaped. He was later located by authorities and identified as 29-year-old Gabriela Sebastian-Lucas. Police charged the driver with intoxication manslaughter and failure to stop and render aid.

No other injuries were reported.
