Houston – Hit-and-Run Collision on FM 1960

A man died after getting struck by a car on Farm to Market Road 1960 near East Richey Road, Houston police officials reported.

Just after 10:00 p.m., local police received a call reporting a crash at the intersection of FM 1960 and East Richey. When they arrived at the scene, they found a man suffering from fatal injuries. He was declared deceased by emergency crews. His identification remains pending.

Based on the initial investigation, the victim was hit by a passing red sport utility vehicle. Instead of providing aid to the pedestrian, the SUV sped off and left. The hit and run driver has not yet been located nor identified. Anyone who has information relevant to the case is encouraged to get in touch with Houston police.

The crash remains under investigation.
