Houston – Hit-and-Run Collision on East Freeway Leaves 1 Dead

The driver who fled the scene after a fatal crash on Eastex Freeway has not yet been located, as per local authorities.
Police said the incident happened at the 11500 block of Eastex Freeway, Sunday, at around 3:00 a.m. A silver SUV was seen traveling along the highway when it struck two people. The two victims, identified only as a man and a woman, sustained various injuries as a result of the crash. The man suffered from significant injuries and was rushed to the hospital. Meanwhile, the woman was given treatment by emergency medical crews.
No identification was released.
Houston said the driver left the scene even before the authorities reached the site of the collision. His vehicle has yet to be located by police.
