Houston- Head-on Crash Kills One on FM 973

An unfortunate car accident killed one person on Farm to Market Road 973, Saturday evening, police say.
According to reports, the wreck took place at around 9:00 p.m. at the intersection of FM 973 and Richland Road. What led the crash is yet to be confirmed but local officials say that two vehicles were traveling in opposite lanes when, for some reasons, it somehow collided with each other.
One driver of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver sustained injuries from the impact of the collision. He was rushed to a hospital but his condition remains unknown.
Their identifications of the drivers and their respective vehicles have not been disclosed by authorities.
