Houston – Head-on Collision on Ocee Street

At least one person was hospitalized following a major car accident on Ocee Street, early Sunday morning.
According to initial reports, the wreck occurred at around 2:00 a.m. A silver sport utility vehicle was seen traveling along Ocee St when, for reasons that had not been determined, it drifted onto the opposing lanes and collided with a black SUV. Details surrounding the incident are limited at this time.
A passenger in the front seat of the second SUV suffered from unknown injuries. He was rushed to a local hospital where he was listed in stable condition. His identification has not been released. Fortunately, the other occupants in the said vehicle were not hurt.
Houston law enforcement officials arrived at the scene to determine the cause of the incident. They are also looking into the possibility of intoxication.
The crash remains under investigation.
