Houston – Girl Seriously Injured after a Crash on Highway 249

An 8-year-old girl suffered from fatal injuries after a rear-end collision on Highway 249 last June 18.

According to initial reports, the incident occurred at around 9:30 p.m. When Harris County local officials arrived on Highway 249, they found an undescribed vehicle with damages on its backside. Further details surrounding the collision remains unclear at this time.

A girl who was at the backseat of the vehicle sustained injuries as a result of the crash. She was immediately taken to a local hospital via Life Flight. Her condition was not immediately released.

No words on the condition of both drivers involved.

The Houston Police Department arrived at the scene to determine liability. No citations have been issued as of this writing.
