Houston – Fiery Crash on Vickery Street

A car burst into flames after a major collision on Vickery Street injuring several people including three children, early Tuesday morning.

According to police reports, the crash happened in the 11800 block of Vickery Street, just north of East Mount Houston Road near Interstate 69. Police said that two vehicles somehow collided, seriously injuring an 11-year-old girl who was with her parents when the accident took place.

Details surrounding the incident are very limited at this time. As per Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, both drivers of the vehicles, and three more children, sustained injuries as a result of the incident. The extent of their injuries was not immediately disclosed but police said that they are expected to recover.

No identifications have been released at this time.

Investigators arrived at the scene to determine what caused this unfortunate event.
