Houston – Father of Three Struck and Killed by Car on Alameda Road

A fatal auto versus pedestrian collision caused the death of a 45-year-old man on Alameda Road, last Friday night.
According to a report released by local officials, the incident happened at around 10:45 p.m. on Almeda Road. A man was attempting to cross the street when he was hit by a passing vehicle. When local paramedics arrived at the scene, they found the pedestrian lying on the ground, lifeless. He was later identified as Walter Davis Jr., 45.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. He was taken to custody on suspicion of intoxication. His identification has not been released at this time.
The crash remains under investigation.
