Houston cop arrested for drunk driving while on-duty

HOUSTON, TX – A Houston police officer has been arrested for drunk driving while on-duty Sunday night, the Houston Chronicle reports.
The outlet reports that officer Chad R. Hogue was driving while drunk near the 13000 block of Galveston Road just before midnight. He was reportedly driving in a marked HPD patrol car.
HPD says he has been relieved from duty, pending the results of an internal investigation.
