Houston – Car vs Train Collision on North Main Street

Houston law enforcement officials are conducting an investigation about a train collision involving a METRO Rail train on North Main Street near downtown, last Wednesday.
According to initial reports, the incident took place at around 11:20 at the intersection of North Main Street and Hogan Street. Details about how the collision happened are not immediately determined but it was confirmed that a silver Cadillac was involved. The impact of the collision left the vehicle and the train heavy damages.
An occupant in the Cadillac and a passenger in the train suffered from unknown injuries. They were both transported to an area hospital where they received medical treatment. The extent of their injuries has yet to be released by medical personnel.
No one else was reportedly injured.
Local investigators arrived at the scene to know the events leading up to the accident. No charges have been filed at this time.
