Houston—Bus Collision on Will Clayton Parkway

The Houston Police Department is investigating a car accident in a pay parking lot near Will Clayton Parkway, Friday afternoon.
At around 5:40 p.m., local responding officers were dispatched at the 6655 Will Clayton Parkway in the parking lot of the Fast Park. According to initial reports, a shuttle bus was heading south through the parking lot when it crashed into several unoccupied vehicles. The impact of the collision left the driver of the bus with serious injuries. He was rushed to a local hospital where he later died. His name has not been released pending notification of relatives.
Based on a preliminary investigation, the driver of the bus is believed to have encountered a medical emergency causing the bus to go out of control and hit seven vehicles.
No further details were released as the investigation is still in progress.
