Houston – Auto Crash on Tidwell Road

A child was pronounced deceased after a fatal vehicle accident on Tidwell Road in Houston, Tuesday morning.

At around 5:30 a.m., local responders were dispatched to Tidwell Rd near Valley Forest Drive to assist in a vehicle accident. A vehicle was seen traveling along the roadway when, for yet unknown reasons, it went out of control and rolled over into a ditch. The impact of the collision left a five-year-old child in the vehicle with significant injuries. He later died at the scene.

Three more occupants sustained injuries from the force of the impact. Police said two of them were children with ages 6 and 7. The driver of the car was identified as a 29-year-old woman.

Investigators have yet to determine the reason that caused the driver to lose control over the car.
