Houston – 30-year-old Man Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident on North Loop West

Houston Police Department has released the name of the man who died in a deadly solo-car crash on North Loop West in Houston.

The fatality was identified as 30-year-old Fredy Top-Ajcuc.

According to initial reports, Top-Ajcuc was driving along the incident took place at th 1100 block of North Loop West at around 5:00 a.m. Top-Ajcuc was reportedly driving along the roadway when, for yet unknown reasons, it drifted off the road and crashed into a light pole and guardrail. Top-Ajcuc continued on and struck a sign before complete coming to rest. He was fatally injured from the impact of the crash. Emergency crews rushed him to the hospital where he later died.

Nobody else was injured.

Area investigators are still determining whether or not speed played a factor in the crash.
