Houston – 1 Killed After Two-Car Crash on Lee Road

Houston law enforcement officials have yet to release the name of the victim who died following a fatal vehicle collision on Lee Road last Saturday night.
According to the report, a pickup truck was traveling along the eastbound lane of Edward Drive near Lee Road when it crashed into another car as it approaches the intersection. Police sad that the driver of the pickup failed to yield to the other car, resulting in a crash.
When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found one person in one of the vehicles unconscious. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. Meanwhile, two occupants in the pickup failed to render aid to the victim and escaped the scene. They were later apprehended by police shortly after.
No one else was injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
