Houston – 1 Injured in Vehicle Crash on Gulf Freeway

Houston law enforcement officials are investigating a rear-end crash on Gulf Freeway, Friday evening.

At around 10:00 p.m., local responders were dispatched to Gulf Fwy near Clearwood Drive in Houston to assist in a car accident. According to the initial investigation, a car was traveling along the highway when it struck the rear side of another vehicle, pushing it off the road. The vehicle continued on, down to the feeder road where it landed on its roof.

An occupant in the vehicle was fatally injuries as a result of the crash. He was rushed to the nearest hospital where he was listed in an unknown condition.

No other injuries were reported.

Investigators have yet to determine what caused the first vehicle to lose control and crashed into another. No charges have been made at this time.
