Houston- 1 injured in head-on collision on Mangum Road

A wreck involving an intoxicated driver left one person with injuries on Mangum Road and Lamonte Road, December 30.
According to reports, the accident took place at around 11:45 p.m. last December 30, in northwest Houston. Police say that a vehicle was traveling north on Mangum Road when for yet unknown reasons, it veered onto the oncoming traffic. The vehicle then collided with another vehicle.
The force of impact injured the occupant of the other vehicle. His identification was not released.
The driver of the wrong-way vehicle was arrested on suspicion of intoxication. It remains unknown if he sustained injury from the collision.
The investigation is underway.
