Hit-and-run collision reported on Rowlett Rd in SE Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A hit-and-run crash was reported Tuesday afternoon near a shopping center in the Greater Hobby Area neighborhood of southeast Houston, reports City of Houston.
Houston police and fire crews responded to the scene at 9598 Rowlett Road near Almeda-Genoa Road at approximately 12:13 p.m.
Details are limited at this time, but authorities indicated a “FSRA” event, in which one party failed to stop and render aid to another party after an accident resulting in injuries or death.
No further information has been disclosed on the events leading up to the crash or any significant injuries.
