Hit-and-run collision reported on Almeda-Genoa Rd in south Houston

HOUSTON, TX — At least one person was injured Thursday morning in a hit-and-run crash near Houston’s South Acres/Crestmont Park neighborhood, reports City of Houston.
The incident was reported in the 4500 block of Almeda-Genoa Road near Lea Street shortly before 9:46 a.m.
Few details have been made available, but Houston Police indicated a major “FSRA” event in which one party failed to stop and render aid to another party after an accident involving injuries or death.
