Hill County – Woman Died Following Auto Collision on FM 933

A woman passed away after her vehicle collided with another car on Farm to Market Road 933 in Hill County, Monday.

Initial investigation indicates that a sport utility vehicle (SUV) was seen traveling along FM 933 when it went out of control and crashed into a pickup truck. The driver of the SUV, identified only as a 24-year-old female driver, was fatally injured and died at the scene. The pickup driver suffered from major injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he received further medical attention. His identification was withheld pending notification of his next of kin.

Local authorities have yet to determine why the SUV went out of control. The investigation is ongoing.
