Head-on collision on North Wayside sends two to the hospital

HOUSTON, TX – Two drivers were transported to the hospital following a head-on collision on Sunday, May 17, according to KHOU 11.

The incident occurred at the 400 block of North Wayside in east Houston shortly before midnight. Authorities believe that one of the cars was driving northbound in the road’s southbound lane, for unknown reasons.

Both cars were left with major front-end damage. The two drivers involved were transported to the hospital with injuries but are both expected to recover.
