HCSO responds to car-train collision

HOUSTON, TX – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to a car-train collision on Saturday morning, according to a tweet posted to the office’s official Twitter page.

A support pickup appears to have collided with a freight train at Beaumont Highway at Pineland. The driver of the car reportedly fled the scene. No one in the train crew was injured.
