HCSO patrol vehicle hit by impaired driver

HOUSTON, TX – An HCSO patrol vehicle was hit by an impaired vehicle on Sunday, August 16, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident took place at the Sam Houston Tollway near West Road around 12 a.m. Luckily, no deputies were injured. Authorities believe the driver was impaired but did not indicate the nature of the impairment.
