HCSO deputy suffers minor injuries in crash on the Katy Freeway

HOUSTON, TX – A Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputy suffered minor injuries in a crash on the Katy Freeway last night.
Traffic investigators are on the scene of a crash involving a Motorist Assistance Program (MAP) unit. The MAP unit was struck by another vehicle while on the shoulder of the I-10 freeway near Barbara Mae St. #hounews pic.twitter.com/qcOmty37W0

The deputy was in a Motorist Assistant Program Unit that was on the shoulder of the Katy Freeway near Barbara Mae Street. Around 8:36 p.m., the car was hit by another vehicle.
Both the driver and deputy sustained minor injuries.
