Hazmat teams respond to overturned semi on 610 North Loop

HOUSTON, TX – Hazmat crews responded to an overturned semi truck on the I-610 North Loop near Homestead Road in northeast Houston early this morning, TxDOT reports.
Crews have opened two lanes on I-610 North Loop westbound at Homestead following heavy truck incident from earlier this morning. Truck has been uprighted and crews have now opened two lanes. Hazmat clean up will continue. pic.twitter.com/bXpfbIl4b9

The incident happened sometime early this morning, and resulted in the closure of two westbound lanes.
We do not know whether anyone was injured at this time. We will provide further updates if they are made public.
