Hazmat spill at FM-529 and Katy Hockley Cut Off Rd

KATY, TX – A traffic accident resulting in a hazardous materials spill has been reported on FM-529 westbound near its intersection with Katy Hockley Cut Off Road, Houston TranStar reports this morning.

A vehicle overturned on the roadway shortly before 9:02 a.m., covering the roadway in hazardous materials and affecting all lanes of traffic.

It is unclear at this time what caused the incident, or whether anyone was injured. This story will be updated if that information becomes available.
