Harrison County – 1 Killed, 1 Injured Following Auto Crash on State Highway 43

A fatal car collision on State Highway 43 caused the death of one person and injuries to another, as per local news source.
Last November 19th, just before 6:00 a.m., police received a call reporting a vehicle accident involving a wrong-way driver. According to the initial report, a Ford Mustang was seen traveling on the opposite side of the road when it crashed into a passing semi-truck. The driver of the Mustang suffered significant injuries and was pronounced deceased by emergency crews. Meanwhile, the driver of the semi-truck was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. His condition was not immediately confirmed.
No identification has been released pending notification of the next of kin.
The Harrison County Police Department was requested at the scene to determine the reason why the Ford driver was driving in the wrong direction.
