Harris County – Woman Killed in Airline Drive Crash

The Harris County Police Department is conducting an investigation about a two-vehicle accident on Airline Drive, Monday midnight.
According to the initial investigation, the incident took place at around 12:00 a.m., at the 9100 Airline Dr near Little York Road. A BMW was traveling along the roadway when it suddenly drifted into the path of a Toyota vehicle resulting in a crash. The impact sent the Toyota into a church parking lot.
Meanwhile, the driver of the BMW fled the scene but was later arrested by police officers when the vehicle encountered a mechanical problem. He was taken into custody.
Police said one female occupant was hurt as a result of the crash. She was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
