Harris County – Woman Died in Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Wimbledon Estates Drive

A deadly accident involving a car and a pedestrian caused the death of one person on Wimbledon Estates Drive near Stuebner Airline Road, Monday evening.
At approximately 7:00 p.m., a woman was seen crossing the street near Stuebner Airline in Harris County when a passing vehicle struck her. The pedestrian, who was only identified as a woman, was sent to an area hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, the victim succumbed to her injuries a few moments later. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle waited for authorities to arrived at the scene and is cooperating with local investigators.
During the initial investigation, a witness told police that the vehicle involved had a green light when the incident took place. The pedestrian was also at a crosswalk.
No charges have been made as of this writing.
