Harris County – Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 249 Kills 1

The 12-year-old boy who was hospitalized following a fatal vehicle collision on Highway 249 had succumbed to his injuries, Thursday night.
According to police reports, the tragic car accident happened on Highway 249 and Mills Road. A sports utility vehicle was trying to get to a safe spot on the road when, for reasons that had not been determined, a white car struck its rear.
A front passenger in the SUV, identified only as a 12-year-old boy, sustained serious injuries from the impact. He was immediately taken to a hospital where he died, Friday. Meanwhile, the female driver of the SUV and a toddler who was seating at the back seat were not harmed.
No one else was injured.
Harris County officials are still investigating the accident. No words on the driver of the white vehicle.
