Harris County – Hit-and-run Crash on Spring Cypress Road

A hit and run driver struck a bicyclist leaving him injured on Spring Cypress Road near Spring, Monday morning.
According to a police news release, the incident took place just before 7:00 a.m. at the 2500 block of Spring Cypress Road. How the crash took place is yet to be released by local officials but it was confirmed that the bicyclist was struck by a vehicle that escaped the scene. The impact of the collision left the victim with broken arms. He is believed to be 17 or 18 years old.
Local investigators located a front license plate at the scene of the crash and arrest the suspect who was a juvenile high school student. He was then charged for failure to stop and render aid after fleeing the scene of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
