Harris County – Hit-and-Run Crash on Aldine Bender Rd Leaves Woman Dead

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is still looking for the driver who struck a woman on Aldine Bender Road last Saturday night.
At around 8:00 p.m., police received a call reporting a vehicle accident on the 600 block of Aldine Bender Road. Initial investigation shows that a man was seen standing on the side of the road when he was hit by a vehicle that was heading east. The pedestrian, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced deceased by emergency crews who arrived at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
Police said they have yet to determine the identification of the driver who fled the scene. Anyone who has information relevant to the case is encouraged to get in contact with local police.
An investigation is underway.
