Harris County constable deputy injured in crash during chase in southeast Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A Harris County constable deputy was injured in a crash during a chase in southeast Houston on the night of Monday, November 16, according to the Houston Chronicle.
The constable deputy was reportedly chasing a suspect driving a stolen vehicle around 11:40 p.m. that night. The fleeing drive ran a red light at the intersection of Almeda Genoa and Telephone Road. The deputy’s vehicle was then hit by a civilian driving a Cadillac.
The deputy’s vehicle flipped over while the Cadillac was thrown into a nearby car dealership. The deputy and two others were injured.
