Harris County – 1 Injured, 1 Killed in Traffic Collision on FM 1960

The Harris County Police Department is investigating a car accident on Farm to Market 1960 Road which sent one person to a hospital, last Thursday, May 16.
At around 10:30 p.m., local officials received an alert about a motor vehicle collision on FM 1960. According to the report, a Jeep was traveling along the eastbound lanes of the highway when it collided with a motorcycle that was heading west. Police said that the Jeep was attempting to make a U-turn into the westbound lane with the incident occurred.
The impact of the collision killed the rider of the motorcycle whose identification has yet to be released. He was pronounced dead by emergency crews who responded to the scene. Authorities stated in their report that the deceased victim was not wearing a helmet. Meanwhile, the driver of the Jeep suffered from minor injuries. He was rushed to a local hospital for further care.
