Hallsville – 21-year-old Hallsville Man Killed in Fatal Motorcycle Collision on US 80

The Hallsville Police Department has identified the man who died in a deadly vehicular accident on US 80, Sunday evening.
The fatality was named Brandon Bevis, 21.
According to initial reports, Bevis was riding a motorcycle along the westbound lanes of US 80 when, for yet unknown reasons, it collided with a vehicle. Police said that the car failed to yield the right of way for Bevis, prompting the crash.
The impact of the collision killed Bevis at the scene. The driver of the car, identified as Dalton Stephenson, 22, of Longview, sustained injuries and was transported to Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center-Longview for medical treatment. His condition was not immediately released.
Investigators arrived at the scene to determine liability. No further details are available at this time.
