Groesbeck – 29-year-old Mexia Man Dies Following ATV Crash on LCR 400

Limestone County law enforcement officials have released the name of the Mexia man who died in a fatal ATV crash on County Road 400 in Limestone County, early Friday morning.
The fatality was identified as Tristan Clay Lewis, 29.
An initial investigation shows that an ATV was found creek bottom off LCR 400 about two miles outside of Groesbeck. According to local firefighters who responded to LCR 400, the vehicle was on top of Lewis when they arrived at the scene. He was already lifeless when responders extricated him from the wreckage.
Two more people suffered from injuries following the crash. They were treated at the scene.
Police said that the ATV was seen traveling along the area when, for unknown reasons, it went out of control and ended up in the creek. Details surrounding the incident are not available at this time.
An investigation is underway.
