Grimes County – 1 Hospitalized Following Crash on FM 2562

Grimes County law enforcement officials are conducting an investigation about a vehicle collision on Farm to Market Road 2562

According to the initial investigation, police responded to FM 2562 after they received a call reporting a crash involving two trucks. A pickup truck was seen traveling along the roadway when it crashed into a semi-truck. Police said one of the two vehicles involved did not yield to the other, prompting a crash. As a result, the operator of the semi-truck sustained injuries and was sent to the hospital for further medical attention. His identification and condition were not immediately disclosed at this time.

It was not clear if the driver of the pickup truck sustained injuries.

No charges have been made as the investigation is still in progress.
