Gregg County – Cynthia Browne Murray Died in Two-Car Crash on SH 300

A 66-year-old woman was killed and another person was hospitalized after getting involved in a two-car crash on State Highway 300, last March 20th.
The victims were identified as 66-year-old Cynthia Browne Murray and 65-year-old Rucker Steven Murray.
According to police reports, the incident happened at approximately 7:30 a.m. on SH 300, south of Longview. A Dodge Ram was heading south when it drifted into the path of a 2020 Buick Enclave and crashed. As a result, two occupants sustained injuries. Cynthia Murray succumbed to her injuries at the scene while Rucker Murray was rushed to Longview Regional where he was listed in a serious condition.
It was not confirmed if the victims were sole occupants of the vehicles involved.
An investigation is underway.
