Greenville – Clifford Mauldin Died in Fatal I-30 Crash

One person was pronounced deceased after a deadly car accident on Interstate 30, Sunday afternoon.
At around 4:00 p.m., local responders were dispatched to I-30 to assist in a single-car accident. According to the initial report, Mauldin was driving a car along the interstate when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, it went off the roadway and crashed into trees. The impact of the crash left Mauldin with significant injuries. He was declared deceased by emergency crews who responded to the scene.
No one else was injured.
The Greenville Police Department is still determining the reason that caused the vehicle to go out of control. The crash remains under investigation.
