Grapevine – Solo-Car Crash on TX 121

A man was declared deceased after his car went airborne on Texas Highway 121, Monday afternoon.

At approximately 3:00 p.m., not too far from Texas 360, police responded to a call reporting a crash that involved a red Corvette. Initial investigation shows that the Corvette was heading north on TX 121 when it went out of control after it drifted into another lane. It continued on, left the roadway, and crashed into a barrier wall. The vehicle went airborne before coming to rest.

Its driver, whose identity has not yet been released, was rushed to the hospital by emergency crews. However, he succumbed to his injuries a few moments later.

No one else was injured.

Police have yet to determine the cause of the accident.
