Grand Prairie – Man Killed in Fatal Pedestrian vs Vehicle Collision on Highway 360

Local law enforcement officials are investigating a pedestrian accident on North Highway 360 which caused the death of a man, early Saturday morning.
At around 4:45 a.m., DPS troopers responded to the 2000 block of North Highway 360 after they received a call alerting a crash involving a pedestrian and a car. According to the report, two people were attempting to cross the highway when one of them was struck by a gold Chevrolet Malibu as it approaches the northbound exit ramp to Carrier Parkway.
The impact of the collision left the victim with serious injuries. He was pronounced dead by emergency crews who arrived at the scene. His identification has not been released pending notification of his next of kin.
No citations have been issued as the investigation is still in progress.
