Grand Praire – Man Died Following Solo-Car Accident on S Belt Line Road

A single-vehicle collision on South Belt Line Road in Grand Prairie caused the death of one person, Saturday morning.

According to police reports, the incident took place at around 3:00 a.m. at the 3700 block of South Belt Line Road. A vehicle was seen traveling along the highway when it crashed into a concrete wall. Responding officers said the said car had been crossing multiple lanes before coming to a complete rest. The impact of the crash seriously injured its driver. He was pronounced deceased at an area hospital a few moments later.

He was only identified as a male driver in his 30s.

No other injuries were reported.

Local police were also requested at the scene to determine the reason that caused the driver to drift into several lanes. An investigation is underway.
