Gatesville – Auto vs Pedestrian Collision on Main Street

The Gatesville Police Department is investigating a pedestrian crash on Main Street, last Monday afternoon.

At around 1:30 p.m., local troopers responded to the intersection of East Main Street and Lutterloh Avenue in reference to a call reporting a vehicle accident. According to initial reports, a person was seen near the said cross streets when it got hit by an undescribed vehicle. The impact of the crash left the pedestrian with serious injuries. He was immediately taken to Coryell Memorial Hospital for further care. His identification has not been released at this time.

Details surrounding the incident are very limited as the investigation is still in progress. Anyone who has information about the incident is encouraged to get in contact with local authorities.
