Garland – Man Hospitalized after Hit-and-Run Crash on Action Street

Garland law enforcement officials are still in the hunt of the driver who fled the scene after hitting a man on Action Street, Thursday afternoon.
At around 1:00 p.m., local troopers responded to a collision on Action Street. According to initial reports, a man was attempting to secure a car to a trailer when a minivan passing the street struck him. The impact of the crash left the male pedestrian with serious injuries. He was rushed to a local hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
Meanwhile, the driver of the minivan fled the scene after the incident. Police said that he initially checked on the pedestrian but took off afterwards. His vehicle is described as a dark blue minivan.
