Garland – Hit-and-run Crash on Broadway Boulevard

A 22-year-old man died as a result of a fatal car accident on Broadway Boulevard, Sunday night.
According to initial reports, the tragic crash took place at around 10:30 p.m. on Broadway Boulevard near Oates Road. A man was attempting to cross road when a vehicle that was traveling along the southbound lanes struck him. The victim, identified as 22-year-old Sabjot Singh Sureka, was rushed to a local hospital where he later succumbed to the injuries sustained from the impact of the collision.
Meanwhile, the driver of the unidentified vehicle escaped without rendering aid to the victim. Police have yet to release his identification and the whereabouts of his vehicle.
